An explicit place to lock his bike! This scene must be captured! Well done, Henry. Was it so dark, that you have to use 10.000 ISO? |

I like this picture, Jim. Best is the contrast of bright parts (graves) and the darker background. |

You perfectly cropped the picture to get more excitement. Nature photographers know about your problem! Well done! |

Hi Christian, first, you are right! Involved people in black and white photos have more expression. I didn't even recognited him because I was impressed by the construction. Under time pressure I made this photo. But this is life.
Next is, I'm not working with Lightroom, only camera raw and photoshop. I have only small experience in handling both. When I'm looking at your last picture, then I know, what I have missed - very good work.
So, finally I will take more care about people in pictures like that. Many thanks for your suggestions! |

Within hundreds of other birds it is difficult to separate single views. To catch them in action, like picking fish or care about chicken is very rare. Well done! |

Hi Ernoe, formerly these brid had been present in Germany too. Intensive agriculture and "no care politics" about environment forced them into the south - like beeeaters. Meanwhile the warmer area of the Northern Europe bring them back. The European roller should be among the returner - but didn't see him wildlife here.
Big picture, especially because they are good and quick flyers, changing direction suddenly. With prey and very sharp! Well done! congrats! |

You're doing well building this cabine! Much birds need nesting places where they are undissturbed. Perhaps this beautiful bird found a home at least. Well done! |

Thank all of you for your comments. So we were at the river of Oder for a couple of days, I got fishing photos (tons!) without any workshop. Sit down and watch, how precise birds are working and not every time be successful! Saw crows (!!!) fishing - they have watched how to do and did it with some first trys! Marvelous - the next months ... :)
