82 Jan 22 Comment One more question. What was your rationale for shooting at ISO 6400? Jan 1st
82 Jan 22 Comment This is indeed an interesting photo. I really like how you have composed the shot which allows the viewer to focus on the entangled rocks and vines.

However, I do have a couple of suggestions:

1. The background (sky) is blown out. You may consider adding a layer to reduce the exposure of the sky to darken it slightly and bring out more detail;

2. I would also suggest increasing the saturation or vibrance to bring out the beautiful colors in the rocks and vines.

Thanks for sharing.

82 Jan 22 Comment What a beautiful shot of this Wood Duck! The detail in the duck is outstanding, and the slight bokeh is the background really allows your main subject to stand out. Also you were successful in giving the impression of movement with the slight blur in the duck's wings. Jan 1st
82 Jan 22 Comment Keith, this is a truly nice scene which does indeed exude tranquility.

I really like the composition, and the exposure, contrast, and saturation are really good in this shot. Also, I like the slight reflections of the chairs in the water.

Very peaceful and calming image!

82 Jan 22 Comment Good old film - I remember those days! I still think film has some major advantages over digital. As you know, the photographer needs to be very astute and creative when shooting film because there is limited latitude for enhancing the images in the development process.

As for your photo, this is a really beautiful landscape. I really like the cloud cover over the mountains, and your foreground gives the image a sense of depth. Also, the slight grain in the shot gives it a vintage look.

Thanks for sharing.
