I like the complementing colors of the flowers and the leaves and the softness captured in the flower petals. As Bill writes the image may do better with the center of focus to the flower in the center. The
Personally to me the crop appears to be too abrupt on the top. |

Bill,
I feel extremely sorry that you have taken it that way. It was a general comment directed st the image and not a counter comment on your feed back. I think my mistake lies in that I clicked 'Reply' on your feedback. Of course it is only the maker of the image who can reply to the comment posted by another member. Hope this clarifies and helps you to understand. I am aware of and appreciate your long experience in this field. |

I think you have done a nice crop and adjustment to concentrate viewer's attention on the church. I see good sharpness, details and colors in the main structure and darkening the sky keeps the focus on the main subject.
The thick border and the printed title at the bottom would suit in case you are preparing the image for a print exhibition. |

In my very personal viewpoint, since the image is of a farm field at the 'mouth of a canyon' I think that the area above the farm field gives the location and shows the vastness of the canyon. The subdued light at the top left adds to the DOF. |

Darcy,
Indeed it a massive castle.
I personally do not like to include human figure(s) in an architectural image. Here I think the fence poles give you an idea of the scale. However I am enclosing an image with some people in the foreground for you to visualize. |

Larry, this is one of the finest landscapes I have seen in recent time. You have captured the play of light and shades so beautifully and dramatically in this image. I like the pattern in the field and the slight hint of foliage visible in the background gives an added depth to the scene. Your slight vignette works very well. Almost a dreamland!! |

Indeed you have a very good location here and you have captured as well as processed the image well. I see very good sharpness all over the image that I find full of fine interesting details and I think converting to monochrome has put a bit of more focus on the so well posed couple.
Personally I feel there is too much of sharpness and detail in the background that makes the models appear to be somewhat part of a beautiful urban scene than to be the main point of focus in the image. If it were mine, I would crop a little at the bottom and throw the background a bit off-focus to concentrate the viewer's attention on the loving couple. |

I think it is good action shot captured at the right moment. I have seen this various time on nature TV and feel it must be quite a thrilling experience to physically witness and photograph. Shot with a 600 mm lens hand held you still has reasonably good details in the image.
I too feel the top part of the image, though providing the environmental background is a bit of distraction. In my personal view a little further cropping and adjusting sharpness of the fox may put more emphasis on the drama so nicely captured. |
