Thanks for the description of your journey and the traditional dance in this image. I like the composition and the choreography of the dance movement that you have captured so well.
The harsh shadows indicate that image was taken around noon with the sun right on top resulting in high contrast and lack of details. I have made some minor adjustments, hope you like it.

A very nice capture of a very amicable cat. I like the fluffiness and the friendly yet serious look in the eyes.
I think in addition to lightening the eyes, straightening the deck planks at the bottom to bring in line with the frame and further blurring the background will help to bring out the main subject.

Thanks Greg. Sometimes photographing one gets a bit carried away by the beauty of the scene and includes more than one should in the frame. I was equally enchanted by the colorful sky as by the sails on the boat and the crew. Agree a little toning down of the background will put more emphasis on the main subject.

I am not familiar with the Nik Color Efex Pro software and it seems to me that you have quite a hand on expertise in this. I think it is well done conversion of the original image that itself was very beautifully captured. It is an image to enjoy absorbing the details of various elements.
I tend to agree with Bill regarding the building on the left and perhaps toning it down will put more attention to the bridges.

Bill, you have captured a beautiful and natural image of the eagle perched on the tree branch but fully alert and scanning the lake for a catch. I find good composition and overall sharpness in the bird, particularly in the eye.
In my personal view due to the background being as sharp as the bird I am unable to rest my eyes on the main subject. Also I find there is a bit too much empty space in the left lower half. I have made some alterations. Hope you like it. Happy holidays to you. |
