Larry, I agree with you that this beautiful landscape must have been and is being photographed from different perspectives by many tourists. I like the clarity and sharpness in the image. The bright blue sky with clouds and the reflection in the water enhances the presentation. |

For a smartphone image taken from a moving helicopter, It is a very clear image. I find the colors quite natural. I think you have nicely captured the pattern in the boats.
Your image covers a large area and is in good sharpness but lacks details. If it were mine I would straighten the image and crop a little on top to emphasize the pattern made by the boats as that is what attracted you to take the image.
Thanks for the description of the festival. |

Another well captured action shot with all the concentration on the bull and the rider. I see good sharpness in the areas that you intended the viewer to concentrate upon by throwing the other cowboys off the focus and darkening the background.
I find the shadows too harsh and the vertical shadow of the gate on the left distracts me from enjoying the action in the image. |

Bill, thanks for the technique of the infrared photography by changing the sensor in a normal camera. Your image is a nice capture of the grain silos with the dark sky. I see good details in the silos and the machinery and find it in good composition. The reflection in water enhances the presentation.
I agree with Greg that the image is too dark and without any contrast. So unless that was your intention, it can be easily corrected in post processing. I came up with a similar result as Greg in monochrome. |

Indeed a very simple nice image in bright colors with an off-focus background. I think while retaining the softness of the tulip you have captured beautiful details in the petals.
I find the direct light on the tulip has cast an unwelcoming shadow on the leaves in the background. I darkened the background a little more and added a thin border to separate the image from the dark screen. Hope you like it. |

Darcy, You have captured a very nice image of the butterfly and thanks for the description and the habitat details. I find in good composition and the colors blend well. I like the off-focus background that focuses the viewer's attention on the butterfly.
In my view the main body of the butterfly could do with a bit more sharpness. |
