Larry, Thanks a lot for joining the discussion and feed back.
I like your increasing the contrast and darkening the top area that definitely increases the viewer's attention to the arch. Though the details in the upper part are minimized the image has a better visual impact. Good idea of adding a thin border. |

Thanks Darcy. I took a lot of photographs, but being the tourist season there were people all over. Soon I started capturing more images of the upper part of the mosque. |

Having a second look at the image, I agree with Darcy about the relative size of the diver. |

I like the way you have captured the softness and delicacy of the flowers. I think the image is well adjusted in subtle colors and a blurred background. The square format suits the theme.
Thanks for providing details and the habitat of the Redstem Stork's Bill |

Hi Stephen,
Thanks for your interest and comment on this image. We had a very enjoyable one week trip to Istanbul. Having seen some Turkish movies including 320 episodes of 'Resurrection Ertuguil' we got very interested in the country. The atmosphere on the streets and the hospitality of people will stay in our memory for long.

An excellent action shot. I find every element in the image well placed in the frame. My eyes keep wandering all over the image absorbing the details, the expression on the boys' faces, the position of their hands and legs, the imprints on the sand and the rolling tire. I like your choice of B&W and the tonal range in the image. Well done indeed.
I think being a big crop the image lacks somewhat in resolution. |

I think you have got a very interesting and well composed composite here with a story. I like the way you have combined the images and positioned the diver. Conversion to B&W is a good choice.
In my personal opinion your image is a bit on the grey side. I think by selectively increasing the contrast the drama of the scene is enhanced. |
