Thanks Larry for your suggestion. You are right a narrow border is needed when image is seen against a dark background. |

Gregory, thanks for your feed back and suggesting a good alternate version. The black background does bring the main subject forward. However the 'hairs' on the vine, that drew the attention are now very subtle. |

Personally i have not ventured into underwater photography and feel your portrait of the turtle in bright colors is quite an inspiration. I like your focus on the eye and its placement in the frame. The pattern of sunlight reflecting in the water adds to the visual impact.
In my very personal opinion, cloning out the shadows under the turtle may improve the presentation. |

A very well composed still life image captured with, in my view, a perfect exposure. I like the details, the sharpness and the clarity in each of the elements in the image and the harmonious blending with the background.

I think this is a very well captured simple and yet eye catching image. With proper exposure you have captured sharp details in dragonfly specially the wings. I like the plain background that enables viewing the main subject without any distraction. |

I think this is a good story telling image of a China man taking a smoking break. The graffiti in the background, in my opinion, gives an added atmosphere to the scene.
The image to me appears to somewhat soft on focus. I also feel the background is rather over busy and Gregory's crop and adjustment makes a better presentation. |

I like the bright colors and the architectural pattern in the image. The plain deep blue sky goes well with the solid saturated colors of the buildings. I think there is very good clarity and sharpness in the image.
Not too sure of the elongated vertical format. |
