I like this very clear, sharp, colorful and bold portrait of the bird looking straight on. I think the precise focus makes the image pop up against the blurred background. Indeed a very nice capture. |

I must say this is a very imaginative capture. I think you have made good use of the light to highlight the main subject here and capture the color of water and the bottle.
I would suggest to remove part of the debris and as Larry suggests to crop the image thus partly eliminating the empty space. |

I think your crop works very well putting more emphasis to the part that has a story in it. I feel converting to monochrome and the graphic form is a good choice.
In my opinion too much of the detail has been lost in the conversion. |

I like the composition and the expression on the bear's face. Looks sort of troubled for not having caught his meal! Using the 16-35mm lens for the shot you must have been pretty close to the bear. I like the sharpness in the bear.
I agree with Larry the bear has come out rather greyish. I don't know if you did some adjustment to the eye but to me it somehow seems a bit unnatural. |

Thanks Terry and Evan for your feed back. I agree to the greenish water that probably got the color from the moss and I somehow liked it as it is and did not correct it in PS. |

I think you have captured an interesting image of the rope and the railing. The straight lines of the railing and the rope make a good composition. I feel the image will do well in B & W too.
As you have already said in the description, part of the image is over exposed. I made little adjustment in curves and increased the contrast.

A beautiful panoramic winter image telling a story of "Frozen in Time". I find a good composition here and the appropriate use of the lighting. I think the bushes in the foreground and the fence in the background blend very well giving the image a 3D appearance. Darkening of the left side works well as it draws my attention progressively to the right side and onwards to the fence.
P.S. Here in Quebec we are still in the winter freeze so some spring images will be welcome!!! |
