I like the bright yellow and green colors and find good DOF and the composition in the image. Interestingly I see most of the sunflowers facing towards the photographer positioned very rightly in the image. Agree with Larry a little brightening up f the face will improve the presentation. |

Quite a find on your very first outing and I think you must have been very quick to focus and get details on the face of the owl, a difficult task considering how well the owl has blended with the surrounding.
I think the size of the image is too small to view and appreciate it properly. |

I think you have used the PS adjustments quite creatively to get to the final image. To me the this appears to be more like an etching on a metal sheet. I find the framing of the scene, the tonal range, sharpness and details captured in the image to be quite remarkable.
In my view the sky on the right side has been darkened a a bit too much.

Indeed a lovely action shot. I think you have captured the motion in the water jets and the boy's leap from one jet to the other very nicely. I like the composition and the pattern made by the water pipes. I find good harmony in colors.
In viewing the image my eye gets distracted by the background and I feel that a bit shallow DOF may help to keep the viewer's attention on the main subject. |

I think out of the three images you have posted, this image shows the age and worn out condition of the door very well not withstanding the bright yellow lock. I like the cracks appearing in the woodwork and the peeling paint. I see good sharpness and details in the image.
I feel that including a larger area of the door would go better with the image title "old door". |

The first thing that attracts me are the vibrant colors and the reflections in this landscape and that combined with a remarkable composition makes the image. I also feel that the left side of the image has been over darkened a bit.
Personally I would like to see more details in the background that to me is as important part of the image as the house. |
