I like precise focus and exposure giving good details and sharpness in the bird. The main subject is well positioned in the frame. I find good color retention in the bird. The grass does indeed appear to be over saturated.
I too find it difficult sometimes cloning out distracting objects too near to or touching the main subject. |

I like the composition and both versions, the original as well as the flipped, work for me. Agree with Stuart that focusing manually will help to focus on birds. |

I do not know about 'detail extractor' but like the way the use of it has made the clouds pop up in the sky. Could you give details of the process? Darkening the sky, as in Larry's feed back has further increased the impact. The deep calmness and serenity in the image is very well captured and there is good sharpness and details.
I see the horizon line slightly inclined. |

I like your desk setting - Hot cup of coffee, V-Lux 4 ready and an amazing views from the window! Winter and summer alike. It is beautiful shot and the gradual tones from dark to bright green are well captured. I agree the center area is a little over exposed.
In my opinion with a smaller aperture the trees in the center brighter area may have come out sharper. |

I find this to be a beautiful image of lovely flower. I like the overall softness and delicacy captured in the image. The water droplets add to the charm. I think darkening the edges, as Larry suggests does pull the viewer's attention to the center though at the cost of loosing some of the softness in the rose petals. |

I find this a very interesting image of an abandoned house. Indeed there is a story that that the broken windows and worn down shingles tell. In my opinion the slanting sides don not matter in this image. I see good sharpness and details in the image.
The washed out sky draws attention and as you say it was not possible to go back to the location, the only remedy is to get the sky somewhat darker as per Larry's suggestion. |

Thanks Larry for your feed back. I like the idea of experimenting with selective color toning down to get more attention to the main subject. |
