Yes it was shot on St. Pat's Day. Most of the images I took have green something in them but not this one. You are right it misses the point. |

With good exposure you have captured the fog and the trees very well. I feel the overall subtle color cast suits the image well giving it a sort of dreamy appearance.
Personally I would crop a bit more on the left and top to give the tree line more prominence in the frame.

Indeed an unusual interesting subject. I find good composition, clarity and details in the image. I think Larry's processing has much improved the presentation by increasing the tonal range. I would choose the color image over your version of sepia monochrome. |

I like the diagonal composition with the bee placed at the right spot in the frame. The blurred background and the delicately out of focus flowers draw the viewer's attention to the bee that is the main point of interest here.
I think some vignette effect may enhance the visual impact.

I find good clarity and details in the image. The colors, to me do not appear over saturated. I think the sunset reflected in the buildings and the reflections in the water are well captured in the image.
In my view darkening the sky a little more will make the buildings stand out and may improve the presentation. |

Stillness and tranquility is what I feel viewing this image, something like Zen art. I like the composition and the subtle colors. I find good harmony in between the tree branches, the screen and the stone seat. I agree with you that monochrome in this case is not an attractive alternative. |

What an opportunity to photograph the wild life from inside the warmth of your home. A nice story telling image, the poor hungry coyote searching for food in the frozen winter.
Speaking of left to right and the other way around, I think some images like this one look fine as shot. Further more I feel the image would be in compliance if there was a little mouse seen somewhere on the left in front of the coyote.

Viewing the image against a black background, I now think it needs a white border. |
