I think cropping the blob and adding a border will help a lot to improve presentation. The other two versions as processed by Larry are very interesting. |

I think the tonal range in the image is striking and the vignetting enhances the presentation. I find the clarity and details in the elements quite remarkable. Monochrome is the right choice as more emphasis is on the shape and lines of the structural elements. |

I think by focusing right on the eyes you have nicely captured the facial expression of the monkey . I see good color harmony and fine details. I have seen these monkeys in zoos and know well how agile they are making it very difficult to get a good shot.
I feel the object on the lower right, perhaps a rock, distracts the eye and by cloning it out, the viewer's attention will be concentrated on the main subject. |

A very simple and interesting composition indeed. The sky with the streak of the clouds, the water flow and the horizon are, in my view positioned very well in the image.
Wait to see the image after further processing as per Larry's suggestions. |

I think you have made very good use of the available light to get the adequate sharpness where it is needed in the image. I like the off focus background and the harmony in the colors. Thanks for the description of the flowers.
Not too sure about the heavy vignetting. |

I find a very interesting and simple composition in this image that has very defined details and sharpness. I like the texture and the clarity in the grain of the wood. The subtle colors and the position of the latch add to the visual impact.
I feel the shadow on the upper right half distracts and the presentation may improve with a little cropping.
