Thanks for your feed back. It is not a posed image. I just waited for someone to pass through the gate. |

What a find! I find it a very interesting nature image. I like the natural colors and the idea of including some of the background. I think you have beautifully captured a unique combination of pumpkin seeds, pumpkin flower and a decaying pumpkin, three stages of life in one image. |

Indeed a very interesting pattern (or abstract) shot. I think you have done what the photography book " The Art of Seeing" says is finding an interesting image where others may just walk by. In my personal opinion, Larry's adjustments brighten up the image giving it a more abstract form and rendering it a very nice painterly effect but at the cost of losing its originality as an image of sand swirls. |

Nice image with good clarity and details. Looks like you had a great view point from your window. I like the silhouetted figures against the falls. You have done quite a bit of post processing to this image. Surely you could have easily darkened the man's light shirt and cloned out the long object hanging from the woman's shoulder. I have done that bit in my thumbnail but think it requires a bit more work. |

I find this a very striking image of a bird in flight enhanced in its impact by the white background. To me the image almost appears like a charcoal drawing. The negative space does not bother me as I like the space to which the bird can fly into.
In my very personal opinion, flipping the image vertically, i.e. the bird flying upwards rather than heading down gives a better perspective. |

Welcome Stuart. I think this is an image taken from a very striking and as you say unusual point of view. I see a strong impact made by the converging lines pointing to the ceiling and to the flowers. I find good clarity and fine details in the ceiling.
Agree the small blue area distracts. Personally I feel increasing the contrast in the vertical structure a little may enhance the presentation. |
