I absolutely love it! Having walked this bridge before you caught it all! Black and white makes me imagine those days and brings back both memories and curiosity. I can imagine the holiday and the lights on the bridge. You are correct that everyone was moving and caught it perfectly! Especially when it is cold, and usually windy. You can still see they are all bundled up and the distance buildings give it great depth and perspective. I just started using 14-24, and 35mm. Trying to figure out what to do with them other than take photos for air b&b and realtors. ;-) I would love to admire your work. Marianne |

Empty everywhere still. It is wild how this world , and even our greatest Country didn't come back to life. I understand other countries but this photo was taken in a major people place. I like the fact that her bag is empty. Kinda matches the fact that there is no where to shop. Very cool. |

Phenomena job! I love it, you did a great job with the posters! I think it only brought out the man more. Colors are wonderful! I have been debating on the 24-105 or the 24-240 to carry with me daily. It seems like the 105 is loved by many. Is this your go-to street camera? How close were you? Bravo! |

Lou, I have seen so many scenes lately where public interaction has been pretty gross or unsettling. I still think it is Street worthy. There are so many people on corners here that are stuffing money in their pockets and begging that they are poor. I usually stop and ask for a photo, they are more than willing. I ask what they do with the money and they say, hotels are 89.00 a night. A 3 hour stay at this corner and I can have AC and tv. It really is all in the way we see things. I love that you added the other picture. Great memory of you to find it. Makes the shot very contemporary. Great capture. |

Lance, Thank you for taking time to look and think about this photo. I have been torn back and forth about photojournalism, street photography, documentary. Please explain what you mean about one of the objects or a combination. I will try to look back on Stephen's photo. I am very interested in black and white, but I do agree something should jump out a little more and make a statement. I am just not sure how to approach it. I tend to go straight on when I think shooting from a different vantage point may make a difference. Please share more. Thank you.
