Jill, Thank you. I agree. Most of the blur was because of movement and I did remove several things from the original. I need to be more precise and not panic when someone says ok. I didnt want to infringe on his space when it was an unusal situation. Thanks again. Marianne |

This was a very unusaul shot. Firstly because we were the only two on the whole street. Secondly, because he was kind enough to allow me to take a photo. The patchy look was because I was shooting rapidly without setting up the shot, I really was trying for the mood. So when I went in to give it some depth I didnt have all the tools to use. I like what you did in Photoshop. I have only been using photoshop for a year. This was several programs together. I am a beginner at post production. Very good points I will take into consideration next time.
Thank you

Thank you. It was a difficult shot because there were only two people there. He and I. So I really couldnt just take a shot without asking. I know he wanted his privacy so I couldnt ask him to do anything else. He did pull down his scarf and agreed to take the photo. It was classic to the time and that day in particular in Carytown. |

True street photography. Taking away the color gives it a new dimension of the two peoples lives. Great photo. I like the tonal range and the flow. What an amazing market. Would love to see that shot at the end of their day. :-) |

Amazing views! Melbourne is a gorgeous city from above. You really got an surprising amount of viewing area. I found this rubber lens cover that shapes to any lens that you can put on your camera and it stops reflections from windows. I like the idea that it is small and you can carry it in your pocket. But still, even with the window you got an unbelievable capture from every angle. |

Great photo of the reality of most of our cities. In fact I thought it was Richmond for a moment because ours looked the same. The minimalist look tells a major story and lets the viewer fill in the pieces. I do like what Chuck did to make the doors stand out a little more with a lighter appearance. Great job. |

I love this scene. I can feel the rain falling and the hustle of the people tying to get to their destinations. I love the rain reflected off the street, and the buildings lined up bringing you all the way to the end of the street. Fantastic Mood photo. Nice job! |

What a cool capture. I had to look at it several times. So unusual for a man in Bermuda shorts and no shirt to be walking in a neighborhood. Very nice expressions and an incredible story. Nice job! Love it. |

Excellent capture. I wonder how cold the water is there?! Amazing how much is needed to go out on the water. Nice to be young and full of energy. I love the way you were able to get just enough of the gear to tell the story and the name of the park with her head perfectly centered in the O. Great job Chuck. Even looks like Colorado with the plants over the fence line.
