I tend to leave space for the subject to see or move into, though it's clear she won't need that space to move into. I may well have overdone that idea, seeing that 4 of you have suggested removing some of the right side of the image. I do feel like the crop with her at the top left corner emphasizes the difficulty of her task and the isolation one may feel in the middle of such a course. |

Starting with your shooting technique and continuing through the post processing, you clearly put a lot of thought into the creation of this image. It has paid well with a great composition and color palette. |

I like the composition as it is; the birds definitely add interest to the image. The border using a color from the remarkable sky is a good touch too. |

A fun take on a much-photographed spot! Did you consider adding the earpiece on the right side of the glasses? |

I think the cartoon smudge filter makes some very agreeable changes to the forms in the image, certainly painterly. Though Hockney does use bright colors, the brightest green is a bit too much for me. |

This is a clever interpretation of a found image. Olympic rings already imply a special event, and your take on it provides more interest. I'd like to see the monochrome version. |

Thanks for your comments, Mike! She is over the worst of the obstacle, but got to the top by scaling the wall using a rope attached to one of the hooks! Understandably, she's gassed out. |
