Jim, You've made a very striking image with your treatment in post. I really like the colored highlights added by the Topaz filter. I agree that making the steam a bit more prominent would be a plus. |

Two key parts of a photographer's creativity are having the ability to see what others may miss, and to show what is seen to its best advantage. You've certainly done both here. There's nothing repetitive or common about this image. |

Ian, you started with a lovely flower image and made it much better with your processing. I particularly like the offset background image. The swirly strokes was a good choice. |

Mike, this is a well-done composite with a realistic look and pleasing composition. I think your technique of pasting the elements at 90% is a good one that contributes to the realism. One small sticking point for me, however , is the identical appearance of the the 3 butterfly images. I did a bit of playing with your butterfly original and came up with some possibilities for "biologic variation". |
