Pink is certainly a big part of this image--the filter I applied was called Cotton Candy! On my screen it made pink-tinged water but the lily was more intensely pink. Thanks for your suggestions! |

Another beautiful bird shot Muhammed! You captured your subject in beautiful, soft light, and the whole bird is seen in sharp detail. The branch that the bird is perched on is a great diagonal leading the eye straight to the subject. Perhaps the out-of-focus green line to the bird's right could be toned down a bit, as it is the brightest thing in the photo and is somewhat distracting. |

Thomas, this is a lovely image of a perched hummingbird, not easy to capture. I really like the color combination, with the rusty background offsetting the green of the bird, and placing the hummer in the center of the shot was a good choice. For me, the radial blur doesn't help the image, as it creates a sense of movement which is contrary to the stationary bird's pose. |

Wow, Janice! This is beautiful! It is very well composed, with interesting fore-, middle- and backgrounds. The soft colors give a feeling of tranquility, and the image is sharp throughout. Great job altering the sky, and its reflection is masterful. |

What a beautiful scene, Pauline! I'd like to be there now. The composition is very appealing, with both the fence and the river drawing the viewer in to explore the landscape. I think a smaller aperture (f/11 or f/16 perhaps) would have shown the scene to better advantage, as with f/5.6 both the mountains and the immediate foreground are out of focus. Also, focusing about 1/3 of the way into the scene would give the deepest field of view and the best chance of getting the whole scene sharp. |

Walter, your image shows a common animal to be a beautiful and complex creature. The colors are remarkable and the turtle is in sharp detail. I do find the green needles a bit distracting, as together they give the appearance of a single line that interrupts the otherwise brown background. |
