I like the layers and the balloon is a nice reward. I tried to adjusted the image a bit to tone down the sparkle on the water and the brightness of the blanket. I tried a crop without the blanket, but that makes the lack of focus on the sand standout and it doesn't read as well. |

It looks like a nice spot to enjoy from inside next to a wood stove. Even though the scene is snowy, there is a warmth to it that maybe has echos of good times. |

I like both versions of the image. The change in sky is more dramatic. I generally like to use branches as a frame, the lack of continuity is distracting. What about leaving the branches out? |
