High Key is all about over exposing the scene so the information is mostly on the right side of the histogram. It is a stark look and not for everyone. It works best in full sun mid day. |

Mary, you nailed it. The only tiny thing I might try is to crop in a bit on the left side to remove the salmon and blue along the edge. |

Jean, the red leaves and the Sunday's are wonderful. Isn't Calaveras a great spot!
What about a portrait crop on the left side of the image and getting rid of the tree trunk on the right? |

I really like this too. I agree with Mary that the sky is a bit too dark. I like the saturated style and clarity. |

I get a sense of a peaceful day along the river. It is a great travel shot.
The sky replacement is a bit bright compared to the rest of the scene and the brightness of the orange house near the top moves my eye there. What about a crop just above the roofs of the first row of houses? |
