You can remove the tree trunks in Photoshop. Place an empty layer above the image. Use the healing brush and the clone tool you can replace the trunk with the surrounding background. It is a slow process but can produce some great results. |

The more times I look at the image the more I think the original conveys the feeling of shattered best. |

This is a nice shot. California poppies are really hard to get right. The lighting is pretty harsh. It might be better if you could catch the same scene during the golden hour. But, A walk as a walk and you need to take the shot when you're there. Nicely done. |

Travel photography is really hard, especially if you are in a group. I like the scene and provided an alternate crop that you might consider. |

I love this image. I wouldn't take out the withered flower because it indicates to me a fuller cycle of life. The tree trunks a little distraction and maybe it could simply be darkened. Nicely done. |

Pyracantha is difficult to get the colors right. The image on my screen is a little bit cool. So I warmed it up a bit. Also, I found the out of focus areas to be distracting. So, I made a square crop. I used Lightroom for these adjustments. |

I think that something between the original and the edited version would be even better. The original is a bit dark and the second version a bit light to me. However it could be my monitor. I really love the image. |

I brightened the hotdogs and darken the plate a little. I think it stands out a little better. |

Thank you for the comments. I am willing to share what I know. Do you use Zoom to share ideas or teach each other? If not, how do you work it? I am the newbie. |
