You got a lovely pose of the two birds.
My only concern is that they are not in focus.

Last December I was thinking about going there but between the horrific political situation and the pandemic, I will not do it. Thank you for showing me this beautiful animal. I took many photos of leopards in Africa and it is remarkable how similar they are to this jaguar.

When Iw as growing up in Los Angeles, there were hundreds of Gulf Fritillary butterflies 60 years ago. I have never seen this one. I would like to see another shot with the wings more opened.

I too have tried to take birds in flight. Very difficult. In your photo, I think a bit of sharpening could be added. This is my first day in this PSA group so I do not know if the lack of sharpness might simply be the requirement of the webmaster to use very low resolution when uploading.
I love the angle that you rotated the birds. Perhaps I would crop a bit differently but that is matter of personal taste. I would move the flock up more so there would be around as much sky below the birds as above.
I too am in the Bay area. I am recovering from a recent bad fall which included breaking my left ankle. But maybe in a month or two I will be able to carry my camera equipment again we we could visit several bird places in the Bay area. |

Both this and the "original" image are very beautiful. I would like to see these birds myself someday as a result of your photos. So you have accomplished what you set out to do.
I do not understand the relationship of the "original" to the photo you are showcasing. One was not made from the other.
I agree with others that you could improve this with the removal of the gray on the side and bottom. Also the spoonbill beak is darker in the main image than the original. Would it be possible to lighten it a little without making the image look doctored?
