I agree with the previous comments. A wonderful, and dare I say it, a very British landscape. The tree is definitely a survivor. i love the texture of the stones in the brook and the dry stone wall. I wonder what it would be like with the emerald green desaturated slightly and whether this would highlight the tree further? |

Wow, this sparkles and is so clear. I agree with Paul's comment about cropping from the bottom. You must be very happy to have seen this and to have been able to photograph it. |

I love b&w photography and this is a very nice image but I wonder why you decided to convert it to b&w? I prefer the original which has a very gentle feel to it, with lovely colour and a beautiful light on the waters edge which, for me, doesn't translate into b&w. |

An interesting image. Simple, but full of pattern, texture and gentle colour with a very interesting focal point. A long look is rewarded by the subtlety of the colour. I feel that the sky on the horizon completes a well composed image. |
