18 Feb 21 Reply Thanks Jerry, sadly this is a skill above my current level of ability. I've tried this tool and it just confused me. Feb 12th
18 Feb 21 Reply thanks Mike, the feelers were actually hand drawn (In PS of course) since they vanished when I did the blending Feb 12th
18 Feb 21 Comment well done on a powerful image. I love the feeling of movement you have created. I'm a bit of a stickler for symmetry and felt that a crop from the left made the handlebars more equidistant. I also found that the image was a little over exposed so have added the following:
- cropped from the left
- straightened the handlebars
- reduced the exposure but added some highlights for drama
- spot saturated the other riders to make them pop a bit
Hope you don't mind

18 Feb 21 Comment what a fun and imaginative image and I'm sure your grandsons will just love it - this is what photography is all about.
While there might be some technical faults with lighting (shadows in different directions) and poses that aren't quite right, the end result does look like small boys having fun.

18 Feb 21 Comment Yes an interesting play with colors and shapes. I'd be curious about how you achieved this. If you intended to end up with something like a butterfly in the shape of a moth, you have achieved this. Nice big bold bright colors on a neutral and ard background. Feb 12th
18 Feb 21 Comment I agree with the tight crop, but this really depends on the story you wanted to tell, I just feel a little more space on top and to the left would give the plane some space to move into. Have you thought about flipping this image horizontally, this means the plane flows with the way our eyes read, and we don't just end up looking into the body. I'm not a fan of Topaz filters but this one gives a nice grungy feel, although possibly not my favourite of the filters. Feb 12th
18 Feb 21 Comment Lovely still life that tells a nice story. I did chuckle about having a bus named after you. I have to agree with Jerry in that I think the lighting is a little wrong here and you will not that the left bus has the shadowed side facing us, although I do think that this works for the other 2 buses. I also feel that the texture is a little heavy over the buses themselves and a mask and soft brush could make the buses a little crisper. I do like the texture you have chosen as it compliments the colors of the bus Feb 12th
