Thank you Helen, that's very kind of you. I'm assuming you mean the streaked effect in the Member showcase image-
The streak effect is in photoshop
filter>blur>motion blur (choose 90deg to get vertical blur) and set the intensity to what you want.
then I added a mask and used a brush to remove the blur in parts of the image. |

I love Original 2 - it has such an unusual feel to the processing that makes it quite unique. I'm not sure what that dark area to the bottom left is, but it could easily be cropped without spoiling the image. |

Lovely image and I agree that the birds really help here. I like how the deer has also been reduced in intensity so it doesn't look too stark. One thing, I notice that the light on the deer (from behind left) doesn't match the light on the bushes (from the right). Perhaps if you flipped the deer this might be more consistent. |

Really well spotted, and made me laugh. Perhaps in mono to get rid of those yellow tones. I await your next spotted creation. |

I think this is just wonderful and I keep working my way around the image to find new secrets. I agree that a little touch of saturation might help the red pop and make this stripe the star of the image. Other than that I wouldn't change anything - it's intriguing. |

This certainly does have a Van Gogh feel to it. The brighter version really makes the yellows and green pop. I have never used this program, but I wonder if you can change the intensity for different parts of the image, I find the sky appears a bit overdone (in texture) compared to the ground part. It certainly makes me want to go there. |

Thanks Jerry
I did a flip, but for me it doesn't make much difference. The exercise for me was more about playing with multiple photos and practicing blending. I doubt this image will ever see the light of day anywhere else. |

Hi Graham, Loved your image in the Members Showcase. I have such wonderful memories of Yosemite and would love to go when it is snow. |
