Thanks Mike, I also thought about a left hand crop but I left it in thinking it makes the image more of a panorama. thanks for your comments and suggestions |

I think they both work well, Ian, and I can't choose. I really like it. |

This did make me chuckle and I consider you have achieved what you set out to do. I don't use filters like this, so I can't comment on the technique, but the water effect is really nice. I am a little bothered by the outline of the model ('lady') shown as a blue line around her body, but I guess that's caused by the technique. I've never done infrared before so I have a lot to learn about how you might have achieved this. |

This is just lovely, and I really like what you have done with the texture. The white doves really stand out from the background, while the background tells us a little about the environment. You have cut out the doves well, although I do think the dove on the top right is too accentuated, and a little rub along with edges with a smudge tool might just soften the edges a little. |

It took me a little while to see the image at the back and I think it's because of the straight lines that come from the wall where the cross is hanging are dominating. I do like the concept here. The cross and Mary tell a nice connecting story. The cross sits nicely to as not to cover the hands or the face and I can see space for the figure to look into. The base of the cross is crooked and this would be an easy straighten. |

This is my favourite of this month's entries. It reminds me of 'men in black'. I like that all the models are different and together they make a nice triangle where you eye moves from one to the other. (I wouldn't take out one of the models as the 3 complete the scene, and the one in front looks like he's leading the way out). the filter effect has made this quite mysterious. |

I also immediately thought of Escher and I think this image is both clever and well done. I don't mind that there is no grounding as it fits into the Escher mood of the image. I think you have chosen the block faces really well as the shadows have fallen in the right way to look correct. I really like that you can see all of the faces of the blocks. I do wonder what this might look like in mono (being a real mono fan) |
