Kurtis, looking at your interpretation I think making the children a silhouette is a great idea. The colors of their shirts are creating a distraction. Thank you for doing this and sharing your thoughts! |

Regina, I appreciate you for sharing your thoughts, thank you. By only cropping part of the sky, I wanted to show how beautiful this Southern Maine beach is and the way the sunlight was casting so many lovely reflections on the sand. And showing the children in the foreground added another dimension. Guess this is an example of how a single image can be interpreted a couple of ways. Thanks again! |

Thank you, Art, seeing your edit I can appreciate how much stronger the composition becomes with a tight crop! It focuses all the attention on the children quietly playing together and hopefully also evokes nice memories. |

A lovely picture of this Great Blue Heron napping! Your light is good and the feathers are very sharp. I like seeing less of the background and making it darker, it's a nice contrast showing off the bird's color. Also, Congratulations on being selected to exhibit an image in last month's PSA Showcase!! Your picture of the Skimmer was perfect. We also have them on Kiawah Island, I think they are amazing birds and watching them feed is a real treat. |

A wonderful portrait, Kurtis! Such an expressive face, so sharp with lots of detail. I agree with Art regarding the editing and also with Regine concerning having it published! |

Regine, this is such an interesting picture, I can see why you took it. The sun shining on the spider webs really makes them glow against the darker background. I like the way you edited this, the only thing I would do differently is to crop off a bit of the bottom. Great job! |

Gabriele, these are beautiful hummingbirds, such vibrant rich colors! I like the way Kurtis edited the image so there is more contrast between the birds and the background. |

What a great picture, Sunandan. I get chilly just looking at it, so much open space filled with ice and snow! I like seeing the various lines created on the terrain, vast amount of reflected snow with a lone person walking to emphasize the magnitude of the area. Art did a great job editing this and making it a BW. |
