Regine, thank you for your kind words. I agree with you, the beach is a magical place early in the morning, so beautiful and serene. I felt that the sunlight, it's rays and the reflective light on the sand created an interesting contrast of light/shadows and colors. I appreciate your thoughts about framing this! |

Thank you, Kurtis. The beach was so serene that particular morning, the only one around was this lady and her dogs and me with mine! Seeing the lady with her pets in the ocean was a bonus, thank goodness my dogs stood still to let me get this shot! |

As always Art, thanks for your edit. I like the warm sun overhead since it gives the image a balance of warmth and coolness.

Gabriele, this is a lovely image with lots of flowing movement - beautiful colors that mesh with each other, diagonal lines and interesting patterns. So relaxing to look at as my eyes keep wandering through the scene. A beautiful place to be! |

Marge, this is a wonderful picture. I love everything about it, the rocks, trees on the right, sunlight sneaking through the branches and, of course, The Dancer!! You have a great eye, plus your title is perfect. I like all the edits (except the B&W's)because they show how beautiful this scene is. I think it would good terrific framed and hanging on your wall. Also, I like Regine's idea of removing the single tree to open up the photo more. |

A wonderful image Kurtis, the flower and moth are so detailed and sharp against the background. Such lovely colors! I tried playing around with the original to lighten it up a bit. In PS/Bridge the background was masked and the background was whiten by saturating it, also clarity sliders were used to soften the petals. It was cropped in PS and also used the brush tool to paint some green tones on the petals. A great job photographing and also editing it! |

Art, I really like your picture of the lady in blue with her hat! Such lovely blue tones in her dress and the diagonal lines, contrasted with the soft colors of her hat. I agree with the others, your vision and editing skills are second to none and I think making this into a minimalist photograph is perfect. A terrific picture, thank you for sharing this! |

Sadly the oyster shells were more in focus than the Oyster Catcher. This was taken in a moving boat and at the time I was just thrilled to even See this bird! You are right about the bird being out of focus although hopefully it looks a little better since the shells have been blurred. Thank you for sharing your thoughts! |

Hi Deborah, I rotated the bird to face in the other direction and decided I preferred seeing his body go left to right. It's all subjective and rotating him is also fine. I did re-crop the image and placed him more in the center. What do you think? Thank you for sharing your thoughts! |

Thank you Maria, for pointing out how sharp the shells were. I have blurred them a bit and it does make a difference, great suggestion! |
