38 Oct 22 Reply Regine, I also prefer not to flip the image and can see that cropping it was not a good idea. Plus, adding a graduated filter on the sky and also the sea is a great idea!! Thank you for your insight. Oct 25th
38 Oct 22 Reply Sunandan, the original image portrays an entirely different mood than the edited version. Yes, the original image is stronger and more dramatic; edited version is brighter with more emphasis on the boats. I see that I missed the most important features when editing this image, thank you! 38 Oct 22 Reply Marge, thank you for sharing your thoughts. When editing this, the objective was to lighten up the sky, reveal more patterns and also accent the clouds and golden tone right before the storm clouds. In retrospect, I think this was cropped too much which took away from the overall image. Oct 25th

38 Oct 22 Comment Regine, I love this scene and the way the composition leads the eyes inward, also the numerous details throughout plus the earth tones on the ground in contrast to the sky. I agree with Art though that a little more contrast plus dodge and burning gives the image more life. Great job! Oct 19th
