Marge, I love the way you photographed this little owl. I like how Art cropped in closer and brighten her feathers. The expression on her face is priceless and it really makes this a wonderful shot!! |

Congratulations, Art, on your Excellence Award, it is well deserved! Of the two images, color or BW, I prefer seeing the blues and tans surrounding the dark vertical lines. It seems to add more life and vibrance. Another excellent picture! |

Kurtis, to me this image achieves everything you wanted it too plus more! The energy, power and determination of the horses. Your crop is great, showing the lead horse surging forward and the last one in mid stride trying to catch up. Based on your objective, I think you did a wonderful capturing the action at the perfect moment! |

Regine, thank you for your kind words! I rarely photograph strangers' faces so I was happy she gave me permission. This was a spur of the moment photo and it has become one of my all time favorites. Maybe I should try street photography in the future, thank you for the encouragement. |

Thank you, Art for sharing your thoughts! In addition to the edits Kurtis made, I like how you made an outlined along part of the lady so she is more of a focal point. Also by flipping it so she is looking to the right. Is this better because the eyes naturally move left to right on a page? Thank you for adding your edits. |

Regina, I think you did a wonderful job capturing a shot of this dove as he returned to the nest! Removing the leaf takes a bit of patience and no one would ever guess it was there initially. This is a beautiful shot |

Gabriele, to echo the others, this is a WOW abstraction!! The blues, browns and orangey colors are perfect and I like the way Kurt edited it in LR by making some of the colors a little lighter and sharper. I prefer the lines and bow of the gondola in a "somewhat" vertical, but that is purely a personal opinion. Would love to have a picture like this on my wall, a wonderful image, Congratulations! |
