38 Sep 21 Reply I really appreciate everyone's comments and editing to improve this image. It helped me see it in two different approaches. Thank you, Gabriele. Sep 30th
38 Sep 21 Reply Agree that Kurtis' crop added another dimension by focusing more on just facial expressions to highlight the sense of fear. Thank you, Marge, for sharing your thoughts. Sep 30th
38 Sep 21 Reply Art, I agree that depending on the picture, there can be a couple of effective approaches. As I mentioned to Kurtis, his cropping showed a second approach or way this image can be displayed, either as a portrait or in a series of Charleston street photography scenes as featured in a recent blog. Thank you. Sep 30th
38 Sep 21 Reply Kurtis, I like the way you cropped the image to only show the faces which is what caught my attention initially. I think now it would work in a portrait series although the initial crop might work better as a street photography shot. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and seeing this image in another light. 38 Sep 21 Reply Art, the overall picture looks much better now. The background is not as busy and the men's faces are much improved by removing the red tones. Thank you for sharing your editing expertise and thoughts! Sep 30th
38 Sep 21 Comment Art, I think this image tells volumes about the state of mind of the guitarist and atmosphere on stage and probably in the room! You captured the scene perfectly with the use of camera motion plus your editing. A great shot that is full of energy and clearly tells a story! Sep 30th

What a wonderful picture Kurtis! I think the diagonal angle of the moving train makes your image even more powerful in addition to the sharp details and clarity of the contrasting colors. I also like the way you edited it and for me, seeing the train cars in the background adds depth to the overall picture. A great job and terrific shot!!

38 Sep 21 Comment A beautiful picture Marge and so rare to be able to see these gorgeous flowers! I feel the black background draws even more attention to the delicate flower. You did a great job capturing all the details and I admire your patience when getting this shot! Sep 30th
38 Sep 21 Comment Gabriele, I agree with Marge about the contrasting colors. They immediately drew me to your lovely picture. And, the painterly effect is another bonus. A great picture. Sep 30th
