Marge, I like your image with its soft colors, as though it is slowly fading away...."Goodbye Summer". Very nice. |

Kurtis, I really like your picture, especially after it was sharpened, a little more contrast on the left side and in the sky. Think Marge did a great job turning it into a panorama. To me, the fence takes the eye to the buildings and dramatic sky. And keeps you there, looking around at other details. Wonderful image! |

Art, what an interesting photograph that grabbed my attention immediately! I like it a lot. The softness of the man's face and hands (plus the ice cream) is perfect, in my humble opinion. Your picture reminds me of a well-known watercolor artist, Mary Whyte. Especially from her collection of works in the book entitled, Working South. A wonderful picture!😠|

Regine, your camera technique sounds interesting and fun to do. Very creative! The only thing I would do is change the composition and background colors just to see how it looks. Crop off some of the flower stem and add more lily pads at the top putting the flower in the lower right corner, as Gabriele suggested. Then soften the green colors since they seem to overpower the soft pinks in the lily. I do like the texture you created and if the background is soften it may not appear so busy. Just a thought... Beautifully done! |

Such an interesting photograph, Gabriele. I like results after Art added a vignette, emphasizing the whites and blue of the bus. If it were my image, the only thing I would try to do next is bring out more of the outline of the battered bus. Then it would be easier to see the second bus. It tends to get lost in the white cloud of ?? steam, smoke? I like your picture, it grabbed my attention and I had to look harder to see what was happening. |

Marge, the more I look at the overall picture I tend to agree with you about cropping more of the right side and extending the left. Thanks for your thoughts! |

Hi Kurtis, thank you for your thoughts. Agree that brighter, richer colors would help the overall picture. And, I certainly do not need to have 1 1/2 boats showing up on the right hand side!! |

Yikes, can't believe I miss that sensor spot between the mastsðŸ”. It's got to go!! Will be returning to Boothbay next summer, just hope the sailboats will still there. Thank you for your suggestions! |

Art, I like how you warmed the picture up more plus cropping. You also brought out more of the sky. Thank you! |

Beverly, I like the story you are telling with the woman and donkey. What makes it so great (in my opinion) is the women's pleasant expression plus the donkey is in mid-stride with his ears forward. A great shot!! |
