Actually I also like your last edit. Think your original image shows how a single picture can have completely different looks or moods. It all depends on what the artist feels. Don't think there is a right or wrong in art, as you mention - subjective. 😊|

Hi Regine, overall I really like your image the way it. The only thing I'd suggest is cropping it tighter and removing the white are by the leg as Art did. This would draw the eye more to the colorful body of the spider. Very nice! |

Hi Marge, your tulip image is beautiful! I especially like your second edit showing a more of the flower pedals on a black background. Great job! |

Hi Art, I see your original as an interesting/challenging image to work with. Creating an abstract made it stand out and added boldness which many people like. Although personally I prefer a more conservative editing approach with softer colors, additional detail and a focal point so the eye goes straight to the most important feature in the picture. I edited this using PS: brought out details, cloned out bright areas in the grass to tone it down and cropped so the eyes focus first on the rainbow and clouds. The soft blue sky also seems to add extra interest. I like this picture and think the rainbow with the clouds parting above it makes it special! |

Hi Art, The hummingbird stands out so much better now plus cropping to a square and putting him in the center is very effective. Thank you for doing this, you took a very average shot and made it into something good, as long as I don't look too closely at the hummingbird - LOL. Also, next time I'll use my Nikon which has a longer lenses, that should make a big difference. Thanks for your thoughts! |
