Sunandan, this is a wonderful picture and you captured the movement of the feet perfectly. I also agree with Kurtis and like how he emphasised the feet and position of the stones. This image tells a beautiful traditional story and is a treasure. |

Many thanks for all the positive feedback and constructive suggestions!! Below is the original image, this time in black and white with the single vertical grass removed near the center. Please let me know what you think, I appreciate your input! |

Gabriele, I like your picture of the building and the two boats add additional interest. I initially tried cropping and other adjustments and was not happy with the results.
Hope you don't mind, but then I took the liberty to play with it a bit and create a different look.
Editing Steps: Opened in PS/Camera Raw:
Adjusted White balance
"Automatic" adjustment for exposure, contrast, shadows...
Transform Tool/Guided,straighten horizontally&vertically
Tone Curve
Next: Nik software/White Neutralizer
Then, Topaz/Simplify 4/ Watercolor II
Cropped slightly

Hi Kurt, I really like your image, you captured a lot detail and fast action. Agree with Art about blurring the spectators. The only suggestion I can add is maybe clone out the man in the middle or desaturate him and the yellow on his shirt. (I hesitantly mention this not knowing whether or not his role is key to this event.) I feel if he is blended into the background, the eyes will only concentrate on the great action of the bull and rider. |

Art, I think you have taken a good picture and made it so much better by removing a busy background, the color and doing selective cropping. It grabbed my attention immediately and I wanted to learn more about what was happening. Very strong and dramatic! |

Hi Art, I am happy to be a member of the group. I like the idea of removing the middle piece of grass, it gives the picture a much cleaner look. I missed that when editing, this shows that extra eyes are good. The tighter cropping looks is nice and it's good that this can be flipped either way horizontally depending on where it is used. Thank you for your thoughts. |
