How extraordinary! Who would have thought to take this photo? I am so impressed!
I am also impressed by Jim's edit. The image feels so much more comfortable leaning to the right. I also like the crop and higher saturation.

How creative!
I was wondering if the woman might sit more comfortably in the frame if she was a little smaller?
A little space/air between the building and her lower body might lighten the composition a little? |

Thanks so much guys. I tried so many different alternatives. I certainly tried all your suggestions, to no avail.
I even tried to include the background, (I'll post it so you can see) but I didn't have the correct aperture in the first place ... sigh.
I don't think I can win on this one. Pity.

I like the way Stephen described your image as "a charming shot". So true!
My first impression was that the image appeared a little too crowded into the frame. I am guessing that there were unwanted obstructions to the right-hand side?
I agree that it is just a little too "over-sharpened?
It is a beautiful and quite unique building that you have captured here. I would have like to have seen some more ground to the right of the building as it appears somewhat "crowded" into the frame? If you have more in the frame I'd like to see a version with some air to the right. |
