78 Apr 22 Comment Well, all I can say is WOW!
I really love your little beastie. From what I can discern, it is an insect (I can only see 6 legs?) not a spider (arachnid with 8).
You have really nailed the focus for this image, nice work. You have also managed to capture some character .... just look at that sweet little face!
I agree with Brenda's edit suggestion using Topaz DeNoise and Sharpen.
Gorgeous photo!

78 Apr 22 Comment Oooh love the shot and love a puzzle too!
Serious first ... The grasshopper is superb! But ... there are just a couple of soft areas on the subject. Perhaps a Topaz Denoise and Sharpen might work well? I also agree about straightening the bar where the grasshopper is standing.
Fun second.
My first guess would be 'a female walking past in the background', of course, she is wearing a pink sweater!

78 Apr 22 Comment Well Terry, you seem to be a man who works well under pressure!
Brilliant!
I really like this edited image. You've made a great choice with both the crop and the mono.
I'm impressed by the dehaze in the sky too. One small thing ... that darker patch between the clouds tends to draw the eye away from the central subject.
Lovely work

78 Apr 22 Comment I am not sure about the mono for this image. At first glance I thought I was looking at a coffin in the grass. The color version gave me much more context and a story about the old boat.
Perhaps a little rotate to the right and a crop at the top?

78 Apr 22 Comment Oh wow! This is glorious!
The couple work so well. If they were smaller, they would be better enveloped in the majesty of this sunset. I also agree with Sunil, that the third figure is more a distraction than necessary addition.
There is also a very hard border between land and sky. Perhaps a more uneven border, such as a few bumps or protruding blades of grass?
I also find the strong pink in the left-hand side a smidgen strong.

78 Apr 22 Comment This is a beauty for Nature Branda! You caught the egret just at the right moment, lovely shot, well done! I am a little unsure about the layers and darkening area on a seperate layer. I believed that vignettes etc were no-no's for nature. Perhaps check it out, as you wouldn't want a disqualification.
