I love this image too! I would love to experience this! My only suggestion would be to place the line of the whale's belly on a third and give it a little more space to the right to jump into. It may help it look a little more dynamic? |

We are fortunate to have so many birds in our suburban environment. This wetland is very close to my house and 30km from the centre city. Our waterways are protected and have nature parks and corridors running to the sea. |

Hi Jim. I agree with your horizontal crop. Placing the pelican on the third makes the composition stronger.
Blurring the background may be a no no for using it in Nature competition, but, in Open it is a great idea. Thanks |

Good work Jim! You have done a great job opening up the scene and adjusting the light balance to make an evenly lit image. You even managed to keep the detail without any noise! Nice work! |

Like Sunil, I find you are quite courageous posting a photo from your new camera!
I agree with Sunil about the 4X6 and agree with you ... keep the posts.
My suggestion would be rotate left a bit to make the line of grass along the base of the track horizontal.
I tried a few things, even mono, but in the end I think have done a great job. |

Hi Sunil
Like you, I love street photography!
Principally because it is all about the 'decisive moment'. There are many things one can excuse in street photographs, but all that really matters is a positive interpretation from the viewer.
I love this shot!
It doesn't matter that the subject is walking out of the frame, it doesn't matter that there are light shapes next to the left-hand border. You have created a great story for the viewers imagination! Bravo!
If I could give you one suggestion?
Try the Puppet warp to straighten those two centralised chimneys.
