Great fun shot Jason. Made me smile!
The moon and associated glow is superb.
I am assuming this is a composite shot?
I find the highlights are a little confusing. The figure is quite dark. One would expect the figure to be moonlit, but with this figure, there are highlights from the left and under the base of the yellow fireworks thing. Maybe lightening and darkening in judicious areas may help the figure to stand out a little more. |

I found it an interesting image as well. The girl at the top keeps drawing me away from the girl/mannequins below. They are competing figures and for the viewer, your message doesn't quite relay whether that was your intent or not.
If your intent was to make a dynamic image that made your eye rove, it is successful. As in Jason's comment, that would deliver a more conservative image.

What an engaging photograph. Your image has a story.
I like the way you set it up. Being a dark cloud fan, I liked how you featured the sky as well as your wife.
Perhaps lightening the area where you wife is sitting or bringing out the warm colours in her top would feature her a little more?

I really liked the colour and light in this photograph. The complementary colours work so well.
It was a pity the top of the arch was missing. Also, one step back would have given you the top of the arch and the bottom right diagonal line into the corner of your image. |
