Great capture!!! I got almost the same image many years ago when I was starting my Photography journey. And my image was rewarded by my Camera club. I am pretty sure it was in the same small puddle. Congrats! it is always fun to meet people who sees things with the same eye. |

It is an interesting photograph Gabriele. An environmental photograph as well. Car and gas station match pretty well. I think you were lucky with the colors Blue and Green. That makes a good picture. Completely agree with Art about the cropping.
Which part of South California where were you visiting? Our daughter lives in Palm Desert close to Palm Springs. the mountains remind me her place. |

Wow!! I hope you were able to capture your Hummingbird after this one. The colors are perfect, the sharpness looks incredible at ISO 12800. I just got my new R5 Mark II, I haven't give it a try yet.
I have the same vision as Art. I wanted to crop closer. The color of the background is very earthy and soft enough even at F/8. Well done. Hope to see your hummingbird next. |

Beautiful capture and scenery Marge. what can we add? the post processing seems already well done. Great idea to create a pano. Just curious, did you create the pano with multiple portrait images on tripod or did you crop one image? did you use a filter for the sky?
I really like the color and the splash of water is well located. Hope you 'll print and hang this picture in your home . Your patience and perseverance were rewarded. |

Great capture Sylvia. I can see what you saw in front of this colorful scenery. I can put myself in your shoes. What appeals me here at first sight is the different layers of complementary colors ( blue sky and almost Gold foreground) that luckily frame the Fall colors of the Trees.
here is my version. I am sure with your raw file you can bring up more detail in the sky. I love Maine. Thanks for sharing |

Great rescue!!!! very warm and dynamic. We feel more at Sunset than Sunrise but it is not a problem for me. I like the horizontal flip in this case and the cropping. The texture gives the image more depth. 3 subjects make this image more artsy. Good eye and successful ICM. I don't see anything more that could improve this image. |
