Thank you Marge, your web is quite interesting too. I was at HMP yesterday morning and I got few webs with the dew. Magic! Happy Fall to you. |

Beautiful capture of hummingbirds. I would love to see the original to play with it. I have some constructive comments if I may. Of course it is always subjective, right? I am not really fond of the colors that I find too vibrant to my taste, but I understand your artistic vision to present this picture. I also find the sharpness too strong, did you use Topaz AI in this case? I am just curious because sometimes I am not satisfied when I use this Plug-in. Would love to hear more and see more pictures about your trip in Equator. You make us very jealous. Thank you for Sharing.

Nice capture Marge! Too bad we are leaving so far away, I feel that we are on the same page these days. Going out shooting wildlife. If by any chance, one day you come to visit the WDC area please let me know, we have a very nice and active park close by where I have experienced joyful encounters this summer, and above all we are both from the same CANON family. I am looking forward to seeing the Fall migration.
The Light on this Blue Heron is gorgeous. I like Art
's Post processing except the Horizontal flip this time. The texture, the details, the sharpness and the choice of F stop seem perfect to achieve this compelling photograph. I hope you are planning to get a good print. I find the posture very dynamic for a sleepy creature. LOL

Very interesting image!!!! and choice of colors. 3 elements ( the bikers) make the picture very artsy and please my eyes. The ICM you chose, echoes the roundness of the wheels and the rendering is very effective. Congrats!!!
Don't forget to clean up your sensor. Here is my vision. |

Kurtis what a great portrait!!!! Congrats!!!!
I agree with Art regarding the cropping. Being able to crop so close was the best way to look at this old man without being disturbed. The post processing is perfect. There is nothing I can add really. Choosing B&W was a great choice. The portrait is enhanced and more dramatic. Thank you for sharing and I hope this picture is going to be published somewhere. You should get a good print as well. |

I agree with Art for the cropping. The image is much stronger. I am glad you captured this interesting scene and also the beautiful backlight and reflection. We can appreciate all the details and colors. Very well done. A great choice for September as we start missing the summer. |
