Great storytelling Sunandan! you are so creative! I agree with Art on flipping it horizontally. It is much better for our Western reading from left to right. I like the opposition between the Elder and the young Lady ( maybe herself or her grandaughter). The Anxiety ( Life is almost behind her) against The Lightness or the Joy of being Young and full of Life ( Life is ahead of her). It is all about Time! Congrats!!!! |

Gabriele, so glad you are back with us. Hope you are feeling much better. ICM at night! Very inspiring !!! I found your image quite interesting. I like the way Art has cropped it. Now those "legs of light" you have created lead my eyes much better toward the Cathedral on "Fire". Yes! this element of light on the Cathedral looks like flames.... don't you think? Congrats for trying, it is a successful image. |

Sylvia, Thank you for sharing this beautiful Poppy. My favorite one as well. The color is amazing! I think you have done a great job editing this picture. A great idea to change the backgroung in Black. I like what Art did with Sharpening tool. I am always shy with sharpening tool, but here, it works pretty well. There is nothing I would do better. Please Print and frame it. Congrats!!! |

Very successful image Kurtis. I love the story and the stillness of the water. The bird pop out very well on this natural mirror. The picture is very dynamic and the grass in the background adds some great color. I am impressed by the sharpness of the bird. Did you take the picture Handheld?
I cropped it in order to remove the grass on the right edge.
Also, I am curious how happy are you with your mirrorless camera paired with the regular Canon lens 100-400mm? I am asking because I am a CANON photographer as well and plan to get a mirrorless camera for my bird photography. Your feed back would be much appreciated if you have time to spare .

Wow!!!! this image is one of my favorite of yours. So delicate !!! it is like a drawing or charcoal drawing... the upper right color makes this image more interesting than a totally B&W... It is FINE ART to me... I would like to see a serie of this type of pictures. Maybe 2 more similar pictures? It would be a fun project. I tried to play with your image but couldn't get the same effect with the dark thin lines. What is your secret here ? I tried to off centered the table . do you like it? |
