Kurtis, You have rescued a beautiful image! Amazing ! how powerful are the softwares nowadays. But Congrats for being able to not overdue it. The Sky, the composition, the colors , everything is appealing. Hope you can get a good print. There is nothing I can do better than you have already done. Let us know if you are able to get a good print. I am curious about it. I have always doubts when I play with the shadows. I am always concerned with pixelated areas. I checked again your original and it doesn't seem so underexposed so you should have a good Histogram, right? Thanks for choosing this image, I like it very much. |

Very nice image indeed, at first sight. But Here is my interpretation of it.
In one hand, I like the texture in the foreground. It adds something very unique. It is not only the capture of an Ad in a window. In another hand, I can see a powerful but disturbing statement here. How the woman and her reflection look like a feline behind the bars of her cage. No freedom for her. She is an object of desire. As a model, as a woman, she is trapped. Very sad! yes Marge, you have a good eye. Maybe you haven't seen what I am seen and it is ok. |

Sylvia, It is an outstanding panorama and you did a great job rescuing the shadows from this image. I am really impressed. They don't seem pixelated. Great job! I also like the warm color of the sky you were able to bring up. I am glad you didn't get rid of this picture. It is a good lesson and It was worth it. I 'll think twice before deleting pictures. Thank you.

Art, I agree of all the comments above. You are a real Master with ICM technique and I find this picture very Artistic. It could be a painting. Very well done. Thank you for inspiring us with very unique photographs. You might have a beautiful body of works now. Time to think about your next exhibit! |

Gabriele, what a gorgeous landscape with beautiful colors! The shape of this tree is stunning.
I thought Massai people were smaller. Because of the fringing around the Massai silhouette, his size and the cold lighting on his face, my 1st reaction was: this subject ( the Massai) is not part of this scene and has been added in post processing. Sorry for being honest and direct.
I am sure in post processing, you could warm up a little bit the lightning and remove the fringing. There is nothing you can do about the size but to me this picture looks very strange and not real. I am Sorry. I hope you have a picture of this beautiful landscape without the Massai. It should have been a great adventure and I look forward to seeing more pictures from this trip.Thank you for sharing

Thank you all for your feedback. I came back from our wonderful trip in the BVI with 2 fractures in my arm. The adjustment this past week has been tough and has kept me away from my computer. sorry in advance for my delayed responses. I 'll try to catch up. I already see a lot of creativity in your pictures. |
