Kurtis, great capture again of the horses. you are a master at this . the exposition is so perfect. I am amazed how you were able to get an image of this quality after this huge crop. How can you add pixels? first time I heard about this technic. I also like the way Art tone down the background, i find that having your subject more detached from the background could improve the picture. Congrats! |

Breathtaking image !!! Nice composition and the colors are fantastic. Very professional Photograph. It is a Grand Landscape type image and Joshua Cripps might be jealous of this one. What can I add? Nothing more. Just print it as it is on a metallic or glass support if you can afford it. And I encourage you to submit this picture to different contests and magazines. Congrats !

Sylvia, thank you for choosing this picture. I confirm, you have a very good eye! I like the way you extract the most interesting part of this image. I also like the approach of Art and Kurtis. Your picture is inviting us to process it not because your final image is not well processed , on the contrary, just because we want to play with it. Here is my version. I reduce the clarity and play with the sliders in LrC. Hope you 'll like it. |

Art , I agree with Sylvia about the pole and I see you were able to fix it. It is a great image and I think you are mastering ICM very well. The exposure is perfect as well. The storytelling adds a lot in your image. I really like the leading line created by the curbside on the bottom left, I feel grounded and it balances all the curves. Very clever. I just have a suggestion, I would burn it a little bit, just to avoid the distraction. Looking forward to seeing your next experiment. your image is very unique and deserves to be printed or send to stock images. Congrats! |

I like this composition and effect. It is a great subject for experimenting ICM and I might give it a try next time I 'll go to the marina. I think you were very successful. The colors are very pleasant as well. I agree with Kurtis with the print. Very inspiring. I just tried yesterday my first ICM and had a lot of fun. Thank you Art and Gabriele for the inspiration. Looking forward to seeing the next one of yours. |

It is a beautiful image and I like your choice of colors. I also like the long exposure effect . Very inspiring! If i were you I would capture more views of NYC and would apply the same settings and color palette. An interesting assignment don't you think ? |
