Nice leading lines. It would have been more powerful with a more interesting light to get the shadows of the trees. But this picture has some potential. I think there is too much empty space in the foreground , so I did crop the image, add a vignette. remove the gate. If I were a better editor I would convert this image in Black and white ( I first would saturate the colors in order to get a nice B&W) and change the color blue into red, of the walker and his umbrella. |

Thanks you all for your feedback, comments and suggestions. It is very helpful and I agree with all the suggestions. the flip works perfectly .. reading from left to right. I really have to try it more often. Thanks |

Beautiful scenery Sylvia. I like Maine .
Nice composition too. I can see what you want to convey. The picture is well grounded, perhaps too much for my taste . But the rocks are inviting us to sit down. I think the foreground takes too much of my attention. What about a panorama view ? see attached if you like it.
Have you thought about replacing the sky to get a more dramatic Black and white picture ? just a suggestion to practice new tools . This picture has a lot of potential. Congrats!!! |

I like this beautiful scenery. It reminds me the place where I grew up.Great choice of the timing to get the complementary colors ( red and green). The light on the vineyard is perfect. You were able to get a foreground , mid ground and background to achieve a Grand landscape. I just have a problem with the colors of the sky on the right top of the image. It looks very hot to me ( maybe the highlights were blown out). The use of a filter or a HDR technique might help in this case. Overall it is a place where I would love to be. |

Outstanding picture Kurtis! Very mysterious and dramatic. a bit mystical too. I love, love the way you were able to edit this picture. Amazing!!! I love the softness of the sky in opposition of the roughness of the texture of the rocks. Beautiful Black and White picture. Also the mood reminds me Tarkovsky's Stalker movie. Congrats!!! |

Beautiful composition Art. A frame in a frame. I am just wondering why the trees are not pure white after the post processing . Do you get the leaves off white in purpose ?
I agree with your choice of flipping the image . The right part is more open and my eyes can travel /read from left to right more easily. nice place to take a break indeed!!!Congrats!

I think the red one is the original IR photo. the picture with the deep blue sky has been processed and straighten. It is my understanding. |
