37 Dec 21 Reply No worries, Howard. It's a good lesson about checking your borders before printing or publishing :-) Dec 21st
37 Dec 21 Reply Nice catch on the white. Still in training, learning mode here :-) Thanks! Dec 19th
37 Dec 21 Reply For modifying perspectives, straitening, etc I use the Nik Collection, Perspective Efex tool. In the image I modified, the South tower and left side of the North tower are parallel. The lower two thirds of the right side of North tower is also parallel, but the top right side is very slightly offset to the left. That may be the source of seeing some tilt. Since I only rotated the image based on the shoreline tilt, I'm thinking the towers may not be the same!! haha :-) ...Or there may be other factors. If this were my image, I would be very pleased. 37 Dec 21 Comment Sorry Bears fans! If only the Bears had skills equivalent to their photographer's :-)
Excellent!

37 Dec 21 Comment Bob, very nice post processing! Eye popping color without being garish. One suggestion, my eye is drawn to the pond (left, center) and I think the right 10% of the frame (brown reeds)is distracting...possibly crop the right side a bit. We lost a lot of our Fall color to heavy rains this year...it's nice to get a vicarious experience! Thanks. Dec 14th
37 Dec 21 Comment Peter, a very fine job of capturing the wonderful texture and patterns of this monument. Good choice going to B&W...in my experience, color, even if unsaturated, can severely obscure the impact of texture. I also like the flat gray of the sky...a nice use of 'negative' space. Dec 14th
37 Dec 21 Comment Subhash, Very nice composition w/vertical format. I especially like the contrast of the high rises to the shorter buildings and green field. To me,there's a real story being told about explosive growth which the smoke contributes to as well. An excellent combination of artistic and journalistic photography!

37 Dec 21 Comment Peter, Lovely image and excellent result all around! Nice sharp image and foreground composition. If you wanted more dynamic range with the highlights, then bracketing the exposure with HDR processing might have yielded that result. Nice capture! Dec 14th
37 Dec 21 Comment Helen,
I really like the composition and lighting. Having grown up in the Bay Area, your image is elegant and brings back great memories. I noticed that the horizon line of the far shore (lower left) appeared to be tilted slightly. I rotated the image to compensate and the tower perspective seems to be corrected. Very nice image!
