Good suggestion, Subhash. I should take my own advice :-) I did intend the mountain to be the principal element in the image, and cropping some of the clouds and foreground works for me. Thanks for your observation! |

The grace and simplicity of architecture of New Spain is truly beautiful. How do you feel about cropping tightly, leaving in the bells, door, lamps and the sloping tile? Those are the elements with the impact in my mind. Delightful image, brings back great memories! |

Great pose and excellent composition, sharpness and depth of field. Only suggestion here is to remove the distractions in the background. Powerful and lovable image! |

Peter, Lighthouses are such great subjects. The relationship between their form and the bordering space is fascinating. And to me the shadows you captured really strengthen the appeal. One suggestion, that early light is really blue and our eye/mind adjusts for that. The camera doesn't necessarily however. I took the liberty to adjust the color temp to the warmer side to see what the effect would be. |

Love the color and composition. A minor suggestion would be to crop out the upper clouds as my eye was pulled away from the incredible oxbow and forest in the mid-ground. A large version would look great on my living room wall! |

Bob, Wonderful image of one of Creation's most outrageously patterned birds. If you ever get to the Pacific Northwest, they are endemic and I'll happily show you where. I especially like your composition with the positioning of the water...an excellent dynamic element! |

Subhash, I always enjoy your bird photos, especially since I've not been able to visit your part of the world. I agree with your choice on the leaves. There's a nice balance to the image as a result. I'm guessing the Thrush is looking for food in that direction as well. Well done! |
