The detail and the richness and complexity of the colors are superb. I do not have the honor of knowing Joe, but in our minds eye can we not see him in this beautiful image?
Thanks Helen for sharing! |

I love the tremendous detail you captured and the nuance of a predominately white colored subject. That adds a real sense of depth and aliveness. Congrats! |

I agree with Peter, the facades of the building have an appealing poster-like quality that gives a dimension not usually seen, in my experience. It's a nice effect! I'm wondering what the effect would be if the inward slant of the left side were straightened. |

Very dramatic story you captured! I've seen storm clouds like that and my question is why those people are not running for shelter :-). I'm not a fan of iphone photography, not that one can't get good images, but the ergonomics don't work for me...older hands and all that. |

To me this image is more about color than the flower. The purple-magenta hues are great and perfectly accented by the yellow..stunning! One minor suggestion is to finish cropping out the green on the right edge...that is a distraction to my eye. |

Beautiful and well crafted! Following Howard's comments about panoramic format for my image, cropping out the foreground heightens the impact IMO. |

Yes, that works well. Good suggestion for me to keep in mind as I'm not always thinking in pano mode. That's a new horizon for me :-) :-) |
