I really like the vertical framing and location of the dancers in the image...quite dynamic. The graded illumination of the columns and perspective are fabulous. I would dance if I were there as well!! Great shot. |

Lots of impact in this image. I agree with Howard's comment about reducing distracting elements. You might even consider cropping some of the top. Contrasty B&W is excellent choice! |

Bob, here's the modified image. Figured out how to do this on my own :-) |

Bob, thanks for your observation on the 'foggy' look. I've asked Howard to put up a modified image where I reduced highlight exposure to increase the feather detail. I use DXO Photolab 4 for post processing. It has a 'de-hazing' function called clear view. Applying that reduces that under-wing fog. Sounds like a deodorant, doesn't it? Much better result! |

To me, you nailed the lighting and depth of field. Beautiful image perfectly executed! |

Thrilling shot! Your patience and tenacity paid off :-)
The guy in the rear car looks pretty grim, though. Maybe that's his wife up front who convinced him to come...

Talk about reminiscing about bygone eras. The chair styles, restaurant motif, and higher contrast BW sent me back 6 decades to comfy lounges in the Back Bay of Boston. Very cool! |

I really like the fine detail and shallow depth of field. Thanks for leaving the flowers in the lower right corner. They add color, balance and context to the image. Nicely done! |
