I love this image Subhash! At first I thought the extent of the sky was too much...then I realized how much additional impact it added...sometimes a lot of 'negative' space reinforces the artist's intention. |

Thanks Peter. At 1/400 shutter speed originally I wouldn't have expected to see too much blur. But my experiences taking bird in flight images reinforces the realization that wing tip velocities can be very high. Additionally, done well, blur can give a sense of motion that adds to an image. I appreciate your and Subhash's comments on this. |

Both alien and fascinating creation. It is both in balance and equilibrium and at the same time brimming over with energy. This art piece would fit nicely in a gallery. Very cool! |

I think the lotus flower shape is really cool and very apropos to our times. You've achieved an excellent harmonious image. I can hear the music of the spheres in the background. Love it! |

99.997% of this image is an excellent B&W image...great detail and depth, dynamic composition and I can feel a chill in my bones :-). Rather than cloning the orange poles, converting to B&W takes care of them and the yellow headlights as well. The histogram doesn't reveal any blown highlights in the snow, which when fresh is not likely to show any detail in any case. Excellent! |
