Hi Jerry,
Thanks for your suggestion. As far as the fellow goes, I think it is a good image creating practice to ask the question why something is the way it is, or what is that subject's purpose, or my own purpose for that matter, in the image-photographer relationship.
Love the SW myself! |

The image without the girl is very powerful by itself, with lots of energy coming from the curvature. Nicely captured. And adding the girl adds significantly to a storyline. As Stephen commented, the elements you include depend on the story you want to tell. I'm wondering what you felt and intended when you originally took the image. Does the final result reflect that? Very well done! |

I feel like I'm the dinner being served to this 'kitty'. Excellent viewpoint and framing...just close enough to feel nervous and catch all the detail of this beautiful animal.
Very well imaged! Gulp!! |

Bob, you can add my welcome as well. I love the detail you've captured in such an immense structure. The strong perspective actually accentuates how I have felt before in the presence of awesome architecture. It depends on the story you want to tell in the image. Very nicely done! |

The Willow is alive with new birth and the fine detail and positioning of the Willow branches is well done. The contrasting elements of the blue sky and the water with the tree in-between is interesting (Willows love water). There's a symmetry there that may have some possible higher meaning. To me, the trees on the left side don't add to the image. Perhaps crop them out and use a square format. A very nicely done image. |

Perfect capture of the fine detail in the feathers and eye. There is great intimacy in the pose. Love this image! |

Peter,
I really like your use of negative space and a 'strong' composition. To me there's a mystery imagined between the light of the moon and the dark silhouette bound together by the blue ether. Lot's of power and nuance in the same image. Beautiful! |
